Optimizing Rail Infrastructure with Longer Trains. IPM has been working closely with operational teams, clients, and third-party infrastructure teams to assess and implement the use of longer trains for better asset and resource utilization. We have also engaged with regulatory bodies to establish and manage testing procedures. Our expertise includes assessing the suitability of rail infrastructure, reviewing load point capacity and limitations, negotiating alternative operational methods with multiple stakeholders to achieve an optimized loading cycle time, and coordinating a comprehensive testing program.
